My boyfriend broke up with me today.
I dont know what to do with myself.
I dont know how to make this pain numb.
I dont know how to get over somone that I loved.
Somone who said that they loved me, and I wanted to believe him so badly that he did.
I hoped so much.
I dont know anything anymore.

Help me, please do. :/

I know it's not easy to accept being dumped however the thing is you have to think of it like this "everything happens for a reason" there is a reason you two got together and there is a reason why the pair of you have now split up. There are things that you can do to try to get over him and the pain does past, it might not feel like it now but it does.

You have said "I don't know how to get over someone that I loved" that means that you once loved them, or that is how i read into it. It's possible it will take time, but doesn't it always.

You have to try and make yourself see there are other guys out there who are worthy of your love, and you are worthy of theirs, you just have yet to meet them which is why i suggest to you that you get out there and see what else there is to offer.

When in a relationship it is only natural to have hopes of how things will work out however once it's over it seems pointless and like you can't go on however fear not you can move on from this and sort things for yourself. The thing is you might always feel this way it's just about finding a way to cope with it.

I'm going to give you some way. I know it might not help as you say you loved the guy however you should try them as you never know what might happen you have to take a risk and chance for your own happiness.
One - Invite some friends over, have a girly night in. Sleepover thing like girly movies, munchies, make over sessions, face masks, karaoke, gossiping things girls do to "feel better". By feeling better and having girl friends around they can help you.
Two - Change your look, however this has to be done for you, not anyone else! Maybe style your hair a different way or something might seem like the way to go. When you feel good about yourself you generally feel happier.
Three - A girly night out, do something, get ready before you go out with some girl friends and just have a good night enjoy yourself, nobody to have to check in on, you can flirt, dance and giggle till the cows come home.
Four - Write a list of things that annoy you about them by doing this you are seeing that they do have flaws which you don't like and also it can  help when thinking things were perfect that they actually weren't.
Five - Remove them from any communication, aim, msn, email, bebo, facebook, myspace, mobile anything. This is so that you are giving yourself the chance to move on from them, and not have them pester you or be tempted to get in contact with them.
Six - After removing them from contacts next step is slowly move things which remind you of them because it can be difficult to see something they have bought or to hear your song. As it can torture and cut you up on the inside. Whether it's throwing them out or storing them in a box, just keep them out of eyesight.
Seven Write it down as writing it down in a letter you won't send, it lets out all them pent up feelings and makes us feel better about ourselves knowing we have let it all out. After writing it, you could choose to send it, shred it into millions of pieces or lock it away and forget about it.

Here are just a few tips from a topic I've made Source. Feel free to look at it for further ideas if you feel it might help.

Things might seem hopeless now however you will be able to move on from this with a little help from friends and just general sorting things out for yourself you will be able to find someone who you deserve to be with. Feel free to message me if you would like to talk further about what I have said.

You should firstly realize that it's very possible to get over anyone.  You just have to want to do it.  Understand that once you get on with your life, you will be much happier, and sitting and dwelling on the past will do nothing for you.

When we are broken up with, we tend to feel a lot of emotions and we ask ourselves a lot of questions.  It is natural for us to want to sit in some self-pity state and wonder what we did to make this happen.  Getting past that is the first step.  Knowing that is probably no doing of yours that got you into this situation will help you to face the world with a different outlook.

Get over the idea of getting back with him, and start the healing process.  The longer that you sit and dwell is the longer that it will take for you to move on.  There are soooo many people out there, and this one person was not the 'one' for you.  Use this relationship as a learning experience.

On the plus side, now that you have been hurt, you have nothing else to fear.  You have felt the worst in a relationship, and now you can only look forward to good things.  Because of this occurrence, you will be able to get into new relationships much more knowledgeable than you were.  Don't think of this time as a wasted experience, but think of it as something that will help you for the rest of your life.

Just always remember that you have to want to get over someone to do it.

Good luck, and I hope you want it enough.
